There are probably dozens of ways to validate a digital product idea BEFORE you ever create it. But I’m going to walk you through 3 of my favorite ways below!

Before I get into it, I want to go over SUPER QUICK why it’s important to validate your digital product ideas BEFORE you ever create them. The best way I know how to do this is with a scary story…haha
Once upon a time in a Facebook group, I saw a woman write a post about how she was super excited to be recording her course material. She just KNEW that it was going to be a hit with her audience and she couldn’t wait to get it created!
6 months later…she posted again…
Only this time, it was to say that she had spent MONTHS filming over 40 videos for her course…and she couldn’t make a sale.
No one was buying her course even though she put so much effort into it.
And that’s the thing…
She created what she THOUGHT would sell, instead of what she KNEW would sell (and she didn’t sell it before she created it like I teach my students to in my Rainbow Method.)
So, instead of HOPING our course sells, we want to make sure we validate our ideas first.
Here are my 3 favorite ways to validate your course idea!
#1: Facebook Groups
Check out the search bar within a Facebook group that is already full of your ideal audience. Search key terms like ‘help me’ or ‘how do you’. These should pop up posts of people asking for support. Check out what they’re saying and see how you can help!

These questions will help you craft your offers AND create your sales page so you know you’re speaking directly to your ideal audience.
#2: The Facebook Ads Library
This…is a magical land of awesomeness. The ad library is totally free and allows you to check out ads from any FB business page. Just type in the page of someone you follow, and BAM! You’ll see all the ads they’re running of have run in the past.

PRO TIP: Check out the ads they’ve been running the longest. This tells you they’re converting 😉

You can even see who they’re targeting, the messaging they’re using AND the graphics! It’s amazing. Check it out here!
#3: Get on the phone
Yep. Good old-fashioned phone calls (or Zoom calls). Get on the phone and hear exactly what your ideal audience is struggling with and where they’re stuck. Use that messaging on your sales pages!
There you have it! Short and sweet. I got a bit more in depth about each of these on the podcast. You can check out the episode here! Be sure to subscribe 😉
Have you checked out the FB ad library? What’d you think?! Comment below!
