Yesterday, I mentioned how I finally found my business partner in a mastermind we were both involved in that I almost quit! So...I want to introduce you to Megan Hooten Bingham! She's partnering with me to expand Her Own Magic!⁣

Trying. Inventing. Experimenting. Always learning.⁣ ⁣ Almost every company I’ve worked for I’ve handled marketing, sales or project management.⁣ ⁣ So I started working with some women on their blogs and marketing on my own.⁣ ⁣ In 2015, when I started my business helping female entrepreneurs with their online business, I had felt a tiny flutter of what the future could be and the brand I wanted to build. ⁣ But I still had so much doubt and honestly wasn’t sure how I’d do it alone.⁣ ⁣ Did I know enough? Could I really grow a company? Why ME? What if I look dumb? What if people laugh?⁣ ⁣ I did get laughed at a few times from business coaches or friends who didn’t get it. But I kept trying (through tears sometimes) I grew fairly quickly my first year or two but then life happened.⁣ ⁣ We moved. Bought a house. Had a baby. Postpartum was extremely difficult. And I found myself wondering if I’d ever be able to create the big dream I had. ⁣ ⁣ I rebranded my company in 2018 and started to explore how to grow my company in all the ways I wanted to. I cried a lot. I put a ton of pressure on myself that kept me stuck and doubting.⁣ ⁣ I joined a mastermind in 2019 that I almost quickly quit because I didn’t feel like I was good enough to be a part of it. I was struggling with some major mindset issues.⁣ ⁣ But I stuck with it. I showed up every week and you know what? That mastermind led me to my business partner that I've been searching for for 5 years!! ⁣ ⁣ So - if things get hard or you want to quit - DONT. Keep going. Stick with it. Your dreams are coming!">

I didn’t think being a multi-passionate entrepreneur was allowed. ⁣
⁣
Everyone said PICK ONE THING! ⁣
⁣
And I get it. But it was soooo hard for me to understand. ⁣
⁣
Why do I need to cut away parts of me to build a business?!...⁣
⁣
You don’t. ⁣
I didn’t. ⁣
⁣
I love online marketing. ⁣
I love digital products. ⁣
I love teaching. ⁣
I love art. ⁣
⁣
In a way... they all go together. ⁣
⁣
But I flip-flopped for so long hoping I wouldn't choose the 'wrong path’. ⁣
⁣
The thing is....The wrong path doesn’t exist. ⁣
⁣
In fact, all paths will lead you to where you’re meant to be. There is not ONE WAY. ⁣
⁣
There is no RIGHT OR WRONG PATH. ⁣
YOUR path will unfold if you keep pushing forward. <3

In case you've ever 'bloopered' hard core, I want you to know you're in good company.⁣

I've done in millions of times (and once in front of millions of people LOL) but you HAVE to learn to laugh at yourself.⁣
⁣
When I was little, if I did something that embarrassed myself...I'd cry for DAYS! Now, I try to laugh it off. ⁣
⁣
Life is too short. Laugh! It's ok! No one will remember it tomorrow anyway :)
